Shoes for South Africa

My friend Emily is heading to South Africa with her family and they'd like to provide shoes for children who have to walk miles w/o shoes to get to school. If you'd like to get your kids involved in a very tangible service opportunity where 100% of what you give goes directly and personally to a child in need, check this out! $20 will buy a child a pair of shoes and change their life.

They leave in just a couple weeks and need a LOT more shoes!

Your kids can help pick out the shoes and personally deliver them to the Ballard family if you live nearby (Ogden area) or you can simply make a donation via PayPal. Click on this link to go to Emily's blog where all the details are laid out for you.

(Just FYI, Emily and her husband adopted a boy from South Africa after living there many years ago. They're excited to help kids like their son get the shoes they so desperately need.)
