When reading it...I love the book Half Broke Horses. When reading it I realized I'm related to the author because my great great great something grandfather was Lot Smith who is mentioned in the book as the father of who she marries. (I hope that isn't a spoiler) I only read it because I also loved her first book Glass Castle. Amazing book. Did you read that one?
